Nearly every country in the world is represented here (along with a few notable organisations). They’re neatly listed in rows of ten, so if you want to try to memorise them you could tackle just ten at a time.
And remember, studying the flags of the world isn’t just an opportunity to stretch your memory muscles, it’s a golden opportunity to learn more about the wider world we all share; as you come across flags of countries you’ve barely even heard of, look them up (Wikipedia’s always a good place to start). Learn where they are … read a bit about the country, the inhabitants, their language and customs, their place in the world.
This doesn’t only make the whole thing more interesting, it makes memorising the flags of the world much easier, and a lot more fun. 😉
TIP: If you’d like to see the flags a little larger, all you have to do is zoom in … the browser I’m using (Google Chrome) allows you to do this very easily; all you need to do is hold down Ctrl and press +. You can zoom back out by hitting Ctrl and -.
